First, I want to say that I love when a patient arrives at my clinic already educated about what (peri)menopause is and what menopause care she deserves. We can cover a lot more ground if she has good baseline knowledge. That said, I am happy to educate and do often spend a lot of our first visit simply educating the women who arrive in my office.

But whom should you go to for that baseline knowledge (and beyond)? Navigating menopause can feel overwhelming with all the conflicting advice and resources out there. To help, I’ve compiled a list of experts and resources that provide trustworthy, science-backed information about menopause.

There is so much information out there about menopause. How do you know whom to trust?
