What to Expect During Your Visit:

During your first visit, our main focus will be on you—your health, your goals, and any specific concerns you might have. We’ll spend quality time discussing your unique experiences, whether you’re in perimenopause or have already transitioned into menopause.

You may be experiencing a variety of symptoms, which can sometimes feel overwhelming or complex. Dr. waymire's goal is to prioritize the symptoms that are bothering you the most while also considering your overall health and well-being as your body goes through these changes.

Dr. Waymire is here to listen and support you in navigating this journey, ensuring you feel heard and understood. Patient autonomy is a priority. Together, we’ll create a plan that addresses your specific needs and helps you feel your best.

Menopause Symptoms Management

As your reproductive hormones fluctuate and ultimately decrease you may experience symptoms that would improve with menopausal hormone therapy or other prescription medications and supplements.

Weight Management

During menopause, many women notice changes in their weight, especially around the belly area. It’s important to talk about any weight concerns you may have, whether you want to lose weight, maintain muscle, increase lean body mass, or simply adopt a healthier diet to improve your overall health.

Mid-Life Health

You might not notice chronic health conditions as they develop, but it’s important to discuss your personal risk for issues like osteoporosis, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, and thyroid disease. These health concerns can arise during mid-life as your estrogen levels decline.

Labs

In our menopause-focused practice, we believe that your treatment should be centered around your unique symptoms rather than just hormone levels. Your experiences and feelings are what matter most, and they will guide our approach to your care.

Often, lab tests aren’t necessary unless you are prescribed testosterone. Other labs may be ordered as necessary based on your specific situation.
